Wendell Payne - President KWCUSA Wendell got his start in the karaoke business back in 1993 by helping a friend take a chance on fulfilling their dream of becoming a musician. Over the years he's hosted karaoke shows and held various competitions at local pubs in Cincinnati and Dayton, always marveling at the many talented singers. As competitions went, he found himself wanting to provide something more for these gifted singers than just prize money and a trip. With the Karaoke World Championships USA, Wendell feels he has finally found a way to give people across the USA a chance at stardom through an honest, viable competition. Having the ABC show in summer 2011 is yet another step towards this ultimate goal. Aside from being President of KWCUSA and holding a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Wendell also hosts karaoke three nights a week at the Pike Bar & Grill in Cincinnati. He also runs Small Businet, an all-inclusive computer networking business supplying technology to small businesses in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Mission, Goals, and Objectives

Our mission is to organize, facilitate, and manage a viable, impartial competition for the entire United States.

Our goal is to include as many possible singers from all states and territories of the U.S.A. and provide this opportunity to all amateur performers to represent our country at the Karaoke World Championships.

Our objective is to identify, prepare, promote true U.S.A. karaoke champions utilizing all of our organizations resources efficiently and effectively observing all guidelines established by the Karaoke World Championship Organization and to provide the due diligence required to facilitate our mission in its entirety.

Karaoke World Championships USA, LLC

KWCUSA is the only organization in the United States affiliated with the Karaoke World Championship organization. Our champions exclusively represent the United States in the only international karaoke competition

The Karaoke World Championships (KWC) is the largest and most prestigious international karaoke competition in the world. This multi cultural international music event without boundaries permeates the spirt of music, entertainment and fun.

Global operations for this international competition is managed by the KWC parent organization from their headquarters in Heinola, Finland.

Each year the KWC parent organization sponsors this grand showcase and competition of competition winners from partner nations around the world to select the recognized karaoke world champion.

Participating nations are selected and sanctioned based on a number of quality standards.

The Karaoke World Championships USA LLC(KWCUSA) is the exclusive sanctioned United States representative for the Karaoke World Championships, to conduct all official KWC activities in the U.S.A. and activities required to select the participants to represent the U.S.A. in KWC competitions domestically and overseas.

This is the only organization in the United States of America affiliated with the Karaoke World Championships organization.
